The Ghana Baptist University College (GBUC), Kumasi is an initiative of Ghana Baptist Convention (GBC) with headquarters in Accra, Ghana. It is incorporated and operated as a tertiary institution with the status of a University College offering degree and diploma programmes with authorisation of the National Accreditation Board (NAB).

The GBUC, Kumasi has been founded to provide education primarily for people who desire cross-pollination between intellectual pursuit and spiritual formation. The GBUC, Kumasi is committed to Christian principles and practices. The nucleus of this philosophy is the empowerment of students as future servant-leaders and the development of their intellectual, social, moral, and spiritual potentials.

The GBUC, Kumasi commences in November 2006 at the Kumasi City Campus, Amakom; and Abuakwa campus (existing Ghana Baptist Theological Seminary). Our motto is Excellence in Leadership and Stewardship.
