Post Secondary Candidates i. FIVE GCE Ordinary Level passes including English Language and Mathematics; plus GCE Advance Level passes in THREE subjects in the following subjects: Economics, Geography, Accounting, Statistics, Elective Maths, Physics and Chemistry. OR ii. An aggregate score of 24 or better including Core Mathematics, Core English and Integrated Science/Social Studies in the WAEC Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE). Business Certificate Candidates FIVE GBCE passes including English Language and Mathematics; plus ABCE with passes in at least THREE subjects. Mature Students i. Mature students must Possess FIVE GCE Ordinary Level passes or SSCE with THREE or more passes and working experience. ii. They must have attained a minimum age of thirty (30) years at the time of submitting the application materials. (Photo-copy of original birth is certificate required). iii. They must write and pass the Matured Students Entrance Examination (MSEE). The MSEE will entail the following: a. General Paper. b. Subject Paper (in area of specialization desired). c. English and Mathematics for those who do not have GCE ‘O’ Levels or SSCE credit passes. iv. They must pass a selection interview. The examination should be passed with a minimum score of 50% in any of the subject before candidates can be selected for the interview Post Diploma/HND Candidates The Admission Committee will assess candidates with Diplomas and HND with regard to the curriculum content of their programme on a case by case basis and place them at the appropriate level. Professional Candidates Candidates who possess ACCA part I, CA part II or CIMA part II will be admitted to level 200, provided they pass the English language examination. Procedure Application for admission should be made on the prescribed forms obtainable from the University College. Completed application forms should be submitted together with three passport-sized photographs and certified copies of results slip and/or certificates within the prescribed period of time.
